Crimson Institute is excited to announce the launch of its new Academy of Information Technology. Designed as an afterschool program, the offers a unique learning experience for students interested in exploring the world of information technology.
“We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to develop essential skills for the 21st century,” said Catherine Togba Woyee, Director of Crimson Institute. “Crimson provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students can learn from experienced educators and gain hands-on experience in various IT fields.”
AOIT’s curriculum is designed to be relevant and engaging, with a focus on real-world applications. Students can choose from two tracks: the Design Track, which emphasizes digital media and content creation, and the Computer Science Track, which focuses on programming and analytical skills.
Through a variety of experiential learning opportunities, students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. These experiences include job shadowing, career fairs, industry tours, workshops, and networking events.
“Our goal is to prepare students for successful careers in information technology and beyond,” said Ms. Woyee “By providing them with the necessary skills and experiences, we are helping them to build a strong foundation for their future.”
